LEAD – Monrovia Football Academy musical talents set to release their EP “Story to Glory
LEAD Monrovia Football Academy announced today that three of their student-athletes will be performing live at Musu’s Spot on Friday, November 15th from 7:00-10:00pm.
The three musicians – known as The Lonestar Legends – represent Liberia’s next generation of students, musicians, and leaders. Friday’s event marks the official launch of the Lonestar Legends’ two-song global EP, ‘Story to Glory‘, which presents Liberia’s raw and poetic language to the world.
Leon Crawford (15), William Zorr (14), and Ali Syllah (15) are students at LEAD Monrovia Football Academy – the first school in Liberia to combine high-quality education with elite football training. Upon enrolling at LEAD MFA in 2015, the Lonestar Legends discovered their musical passion in the academy’s music class. It is in this class that the group’s principal writer, William Zorr, became inspired to create his own music.
The boys have worked locally with producers such as Lil J and DJ Cypha, and globally they have received support from Justin Timberlake’s business manager to release their upcoming EP.
Come out to Musu’s Spot on Friday, November 15th from 7:00-10:00pm to catch the Lonestar Legends’ brand new music before it hits Tunes Liberia, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, and dozens of other global music outlets.
